Honeyed Rose Garden
Just in time for Mother’s Day our last garden party cocktail is a another signature featuring… our 10-year Wheated Whiskey!! We don’t make many cocktails with the 10-year Wheated, preferring to sip this bold tippler neat, but here she has an undeniable complexity to this celebratory sipper with honey, rose, and a sleeper ingredient vanilla. They all come together for an incredibly light and sophisticated sparkler that will have you dreaming spring nights in New Orleans, breezy Mediterranean afternoons, or just a chill moment in the comfort of your own backyard. Honeyed Rose Garden
1.5 oz New Dawn Wheated Whiskey
3/4 oz rose water
1/2 oz lime juice
1/2 oz honey syrup (3:1 honey and water)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
sparkling wine
Combine ingredients except wine in mixing glass with ice. Stir until chilled and strain into champagne flute or coupe. Top with sparkling wine. Garnish with rose petals.
