Rosemary Maple Bourbon Sour
A rich sour featuring rosemary and maple syrup which play well New Dawn’s cask strength bourbon in particular. A nice transitional sour from winter to spring and fall to winter. Don't have maple syrup or feeling a bit summery? Honey works here as well, just make sure to combine well with the lemon juice before adding ice.
Rosemary Maple Bourbon Sour Recipe
1.5 oz New Dawn Bourbon
1 sprig rosemary plus extra for garnish
3/4 oz lemon juice
1/2 oz maple syrup
In a cocktail shaker combine 1 sprig of rosemary, lemon juice, and maple syrup. Muddle the rosemary until drink is fragrant. Ad bourbon and ice and shake until cold. strain into a rocks glass with ice and garnish with a rosemary sprig.
