Bourbon Cherry Sparkler

It’s spring and that makes us think garden parties over here at New Dawn. So this month we’re doing cocktails showcasing several signature cocktails with beautiful floral and lightly fruity notes without tasting like perfume thanks to New Dawn’s buttery vanilla and apricot undertones. And because no garden party would be complete without a sparkling wine, and there just aren’t enough bourbon sparkling wine cocktails out there, we’re provided you the perfect sparkler to show everyone yes bourbon is fun, flirty, and chic like your favorite sundress or summer fit. Starting off the season with cherry blossoms in mind and a light and refreshing sparkler that screams juicy cherries with out being cloying or overly sweet thanks to tart cherry juice.

Bourbon Cherry Sparkler

1.5 oz New Dawn Cask Strength Bourbon

1/2 oz lemon juice

1/2 oz Luxardo Liqueur

1/2 oz tart cherry juice

1 barspoons simple syrup

Sparkling wine

Combine ingredients except sparkling wine in a mixing glass with ice. Stir until chilled and strain into champagne flute or coupe. Top with sparkling wine. Garnish with edible flower or cherry.
