Kentucky Buck

This cocktail has all the summer vibes. Consider this a sophisticated strawberry lemonade that plays well over ice when sipping by the pool and served up in a cocktail glass as a pre-dinner tipple on the patio. Having a party? Flexible enough for batch drinks too!

Kentucky Buck Recipe

2 oz New Dawn Bourbon

1/4 oz agave nectar

3/4 oz lemon juice

4 dashes angostura bitters

2 whole strawberries plus one for garnish

lemon slice for garnish

In a cocktail shaker muddle the two strawberries and then top with bourbon, agave, lemon juice, and bitters. Add ice and shake till cold. Double strain into a rocks glass with ice. Garnish with strawberry and lemon.
